AIM Center Inc
AIM Center provides consumer-driven psychiatric rehabilitation services that enhance recovery in the living, working, learning, and social environments. AIM programs are open to people ages 16 and older with psychiatric disorders such as schizophrenia, bi-polar, co-occurring mental illness and substance abuse, and depression.
Our approach is based on the ‘clubhouse’ model, where participants improve relationships and skills by working with staff to run the clubhouse. Our Education, Employment and Housing Centers equip participants for a healthy return to work and school, and assist them with job and residential placement.
AIM Center, a United Way Partner Agency and an AmeriCorps Program, is funded under an agreement with the State of Tennessee Department of Mental Health and Developmental Disabilities, AmeriChoice by United Health Care, ValueOptions, the Tennessee Department of Human Services Division of Rehabilitation Services, and in part under an understanding with the Hamilton County Government, Combined Federal Campaign and private donors.
