We love ice cream, making it, selling it, devouring it by the carton. Our ice cream and gelato chefs make each and every pint fresh in our Omaha, Nebraska parlor in a small batch process and hand pack each flavor with care. Come visit us at 50th & Underwood in Dundee for a scoop! We’re open 7 days a week and have 16 daily rotating flavors everyday! Or, ship it to a friend as we ship to all 50 states!

eCreamery Ice Cream & Gelato was founded by Abby Jordan and Becky App out of a pure love for ice cream and the power of a personalized gift. We love the idea of making ice cream as a GIFT that will be bringing a smile to someone’s face and make a memory. Whether it’s Birthday Ice Cream, Get Well Ice Cream or Thank You Ice Cream, we want to make the moment delicious.

In our opinion there is not much better than a day with ice cream. But what kind of ice cream? Pistachio? Chocolate fudge? Cheesecake with graham crackers and a raspberry swirl? Can you really go wrong with any flavor? We don’t think so. And that’s why in 2007 we created and decided to turn the artistic scoop over to you, our customer!

Our Process

Whatever flavor you order, your custom creation starts from fresh milk, cream and sugar along with other fine ingredients. Together, they are hot mixed and pasteurized to allow uniform mixing of components and elimination of microorganisms. The base mix determines if your creation is a sorbetto, gelato or an ice cream. The base mix is then precisely aged to prevent large crystal formation and ensure a soft, smooth final product.

As the base mix is prepared, our ice cream experts work to formulate a custom recipe based on your specifications. Water composition, sugar content and flavor strength are considered in order to create the perfect flavor.

After we gather and prepare the ingredients, we infuse them into the base mix. The mixture is then placed into our small volume, gourmet batch freezer. Here, the mix is simultaneously churned and frozen, allowing water to crystallize and air to become incorporated at an exact ratio. Our batch freezer is set to incorporate less air than conventional ice cream, producing a smooth, intense flavor.

Once it’s out of the batch freezer, we add the mix-ins with care and precision, making sure each scoop gets equal fun. Then it’s back to the -35 F deep freeze to lock in the flavors.

After all is said and done, we scoop your flavor into your package of choice and freeze it once more for 24 hours. Finally, it’s packed in dry ice and shipped right to your door, ready to be enjoyed spoonfuls at a time.
