Avenue Scholars Foundation

Founded in 2008 by a group of Omaha philanthropists, Avenue Scholars Foundation’s mission is to ensure careers for committed students of hope and need through education/training and supportive relationships.  ASF provides comprehensive, individualized support services to help students from low-income backgrounds identify, persist toward, and ultimately enter financially sustaining careers in high-demand fields (Health Services, Automotive Technology, Information Technology, Trades/Manufacturing, and Business/Office Processes) requiring an associate degree or less.  The program currently serves approximately 850 students in eight Omaha-area high schools (Omaha Benson, Omaha Bryan, Omaha North, Omaha Northwest, Omaha South, Millard South, Papillion-LaVista, and Ralston), Metropolitan Community College, and approximately 360 businesses throughout the community.
