Ted E. Bear Hollow
Ted E. Bear Hollow, founded in 2001, offers free grief support to children, teens and their families who have experienced a death. Ted E. Bear Hollow’s mission to “mend kids’ grieving hearts” is realized by providing children and families a safe place, hope and healing. This is accomplished through support groups, day camps, teen retreats, and educational programs. Measures show that peer support at TEBH effectively moves young people and their caregivers to health and resilience.
Ted E. Bear Hollow employs six people and manages hundreds of volunteers. Office and services are headquartered at 7811 Farnam Drive. Annually Ted E. Bear Hollow serves more than 700 youth and family members in one or more of its programs. Annual budget is $400,000.
