AIM HDC (Heartland Developers Conference) is a 3-day software development event for tech professionals. The event consists of hands-on workshops, keynote presentations, and other speakers, breakout sessions and networking events.
On Wednesday, hands-on workshops are offered prior to the beginning of the main conference. These sessions may be purchased in addition to the conference fee and cover a variety of topics. The same set of half-day workshops are offered in the morning and afternoon to accommodate various schedules and allow registrants to attend more than one workshop of interest.
Each half- or full-day workshop is:
- Only open to conference registrants
- Offers individualized attention (typical capacity 25 people)
- Provides in-depth, instructor-led discussions in a specific area of interest
For a mere $50 or $100 fee, you will experience hours of skills development that would typically cost thousands of dollars.
In the evening, AIM HDC holds a welcome reception for all conference attendees, presenters, partners and sponsors from 7:00-9:00pm. This takes place at the Marriott Bistro and Patio which is connected to the conference headquarters and is a great way to meet fellow attendees and network in a relaxed environment before the big day.
Thursday & Friday
Thursday and Friday feature keynotes along with nearly 40 breakout sessions. All sessions are open to all attendees. There is no need to pick a track or area of interest. Simply attend the sessions in which you’re interested.
Thursday evening, is the “AIM HDC MESH,” an informal networking opportunity filled with food, drinks and fun that is open to all attendees from 5:30-8:30pm. The conference ends with a Prize-a-Palooza at 3pm on Friday.
