A postdoctoral position is available to study voltage-gated K+ channel regulation of microglia-associated neurotoxic activities in the brain. Studies involve whole-cell patch recordings from primary glial cultures prepared from rats, plus immunocytochemical, pharmacological and molecular biological approaches. Ph.D. in neuroscience or related disciplines with a strong background in electrophysiology.
