This is an on-call position during the academic year (late August-early May). Hiring will begin in early August; training in mid- August. SP trains and/or evaluates students in medical interviewing, communication, taking medical histories and physical examination skills. Serves as a standardized patient providing hands-on experience and patient feedback for students in a safe environment. Irregular hours as needed Monday thru Saturday. Some of the interactions with students may be videotaped. Training sessions are held periodically prior to the Objective Structured Clinical Exams. Outside preparation may be required to memorize case details.
