This position will perform Mechanical Engineering design and construction management services for the University Medical Center. The University is a prominent educational campus and world class research facility that includes more than 60 buildings, totaling more than 5 million square feet which serves over 5000 faculty, students and staff. This position has responsibility for maintaining the institutional quality of both the existing facilities as well as the new facilities. This position is responsible for project scope compliance, design management, schedule, budget management and life cycle costing, ensuring coordination between design disciplines, both internal and third party, through extensive plan, specification and submittal review. This position will also monitor the administration of contracts for construction, with emphasis on budget, schedule, and quality control.
