A position in the labratory of Dr. Robert E Lewis to study the role of the molecular scaffolds KSR1 and KSR2 in the regulation of cellular energy balance, proliferation and differentiation. Projects in the labratory include the development of new animal models, chemical genetic approaches for manipulating the action of each sacffold, and siRNA-based genome-wide screens to identify effectors of KSR1 and KSR2. Qualified candidates should have a Ph.D. or equivalent degree and demonstrated expertise in molecular biology, biochemistry, and/or cell physiology.
