Post-doctoral psychology positions are available at the Munroe-Meyer Institute psychology department at UNMC beginning July 1, 2009 or shortly thereafter. Position will assist MMI psychology faculty in clinical, educational and research activities using a "learning through service" model. Interdisciplinary educational activities will also be provided in 13 other MMI applied disciplines. Post-doctoral Research Associate will provide assessment and treatment to children, adolescents, and families in the MMI Behavioral Clinics located in outreach areas of the State as part of their service experience. Participation in individualized research, supervision, and training activities will also be available. Post-doctoral experience can be extended to two years if desirable. Doctoral degree in Clinical, School, or Counseling Psychology. Must have completed doctoral requirements (including internship) in a licensable field of psychology. Must have a driver's license and be able to travel to clinical sites from 5 to 180 miles from UNMC on a regular basis. Clinical training in behavioral psychology with children and adolescents preferable. Specific training and background in behavioral pediatrics is a plus for this position.
