As our Inventory Demand Planner you will develop and manage the demand plan for assigned business categories in partnership with marketing and merchandising plans to achieve corporate demand, inventory turn, fill-rate, and margin goals. Additionally, you will forecast SKU level demand for all channels within category budgets. Best of all, you will identify strategies to minimize the aging of inventory and have the chance to partner with stakeholders on liquidation marketing strategies.
Here’s what you need to join the fun:
· Bachelor’s Degree in finance, statistical analysis, or Business or equivalent experience is required.
· 3-5 years experience in inventory planning, buying or forecasting in multi-channel retail or mail order environment
· Experience working with both domestic and international vendor base
· Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic business environment
· Detail-oriented with strong analytic and organizational skills
· Excellent problem solver with a forward-thinking vision who can work independently and with a team
· Quick learner who can take initiative and assume accountability
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills at all internal levels and with vendors, both domestic and international
· Advanced Excel skills and a high proficiency with all Microsoft Office
