Right now OTC is seeking Category Merchant Interns. The Category Merchant Intern’s primary responsibility is to support the daily merchandising functions within an assigned department including:  vendor correspondence, sample approval, item tracking, catalog proofing, business analysis and competitive research. This is a great opportunity for anyone who is interested in working hard and proving they have what it takes to groom upwards in the Merchandising Department.  

Here’s what you need to join the fun:

·          Juniors or Seniors enrolled in a four-year merchandising, marketing, business, retail or other related college program.

·          Previous experience in retailing or customer service is a plus, but not required.

·          The ability to multi task and work creatively within the pressure of deadlines.

·          Must have excellent organizational, communication, analysis and time management skills.

·          Must be proficient Word, Excel, Power Point and Web.

·          Must have an excellent attitude and be receptive to direction and input from others.
