Develop, implement and evaluate breastfeeding education/support programs for patients and families during the perinatal period.

Current RN Licensure in the state of Nebraska or current compact state

license. BSN preferred. Certified or actively working towards certification as an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant preferred. Certification as an IBCLC within one year of hire date. Understanding of adult learning principles. Effective verbal and written communication skills. Ability to prioritize and make independent clinical judgements. Ability to work collaboratively and cooperatively with an interdisciplinary team. Knowledge of health care financial environment and reimbursement systems. Computer skills: experience with Windows and graphic software. Effective critical thinking skills.
