Following established policies and procedures, receive, sort, compound and process a variety of medication orders under the supervision of a pharmacist. Assist in the maintenance of drug inventory and records of drug distribution. The technician's accurate and reliable completion of designated responsibilities affects the overall accuracy, reliability, and acceptability of Pharmaceutical Services. - Minimum of 18 years of age or older required. - High school education or equivalent required. - Registered as a Pharmacy Technician or within 30 days of hire - Pharmacy Technician Certification preferred. - Prior pharmacy technician or hospital setting experience preferred.
