HOURS: On-going part-time vacancies on various shifts.

Provide quality care for each member to maintain quality of life. Maintain dignity and confidentiality of members. Use appropriate remotivation and reorientation skills to maintain socialization of members. Responsible for documentation of member care. Communicate positively and effectively with supervisors, co-workers, and members. Responsible for infection control, response to fire, tornado, other disaster and emergencies. Responsible for holistic rehabilitation and restorative care of member, including safety, transferring and nutrition and hydration status. Staff Care Technician II will also be responsible for medication administration and documentation.

REQUIREMENTS: Must be at least 18 years of age. Must be able to communicate effectively. Must have successfully completed an approved basic resident care course. With one year of employment in the nursing department, Staff Care Tech I will attain and maintain CSM status. Additional qualifications and experience for Staff Care Tech II: Successfully complete an advanced 76-hour care course for nursing assistants. Maintain approved status according to the provisions of the regulation.
