Provide supervision to individual youth or small groups in work and recreational activities.  Observe and record in the daily logs the behaviors and progress of youth. Perform scheduled duties including and housekeeping.  Transport youth to off-campus activities. Distribute medications as prescribed and administer first aide and CPR as required.  Respond to crisis situations and de-escalate youth as needed.  Work will include physical stamina/strength, standing, walking, and occasional lifting.

REQUIREMENTS:  Prefer post high school education in social work, criminal justice, counseling and guidance, human development, psychology, mental health, social behavior science or related areas OR two or more years experience in mental health treatment or youth services.  Ability to work in moderate to high stress. Bilingual skills in Spanish and English preferred.  Valid driver's license or the ability to provide independent authorized transportation required.
