Provide supervision and general youth care. Monitor safety and security of youth. Provide safety and security to the living unit across the YRTC-Geneva campus. Provide assistance in living units while co-workers take breaks. Distribute medications as prescribed and administers first aid and CPR as required. Respond to crisis situations and de-escalates youth as needed. Work will include physical stamina/strength, standing, walking, and occasional lifting.

REQUIREMENTS: Prefer post high school education in social work, criminal justice, counseling and guidance, human development, psychology, mental health, social behavior science or related areas OR experience in mental health treatment or youth services. Ability to work in moderate to high stress required Valid driver's license or the ability to provide independent authorized transportation.
