This position is an On Call/As Needed position.  Must be flexible with hours and be able to work both Day and Evening shift.  Also, must be able to work Weekend and Holidays. 

Nutrition Service Tech     

Education:

·        Required to complete Omaha/Douglas County Food Handler’s course.

·        Participates in mandatory inservices and continuing education programs as mandated by policies and procedures/external agencies and as directed by supervisor

Experience:

·        Requires ability to read, write, and complete various forms of records

·        Ability to perform simple arithmetic and make changes

·        Ability to communicate effectively with other employees, staff, vendors, patients, and customers

Physical:

·        Stand of walk 80% of the time

·        Occasionally (6-20%) lifts a minimum of 50 pounds

·        Reaches pushes and stoops

·        Requires excellent dexterity and hand-eye coordination
