Job Qualifications

• • Graduate of an accredited school of physical therapy. Requires professional licensure in Nebraska and Iowa. Participates in mandatory inservices and continuing education programs as mandated by policies and procedures/external agencies and as directed by supervisor.
  • One year experience in health care setting. Home Health experience is preferred. Computer experience helpful. Must be able to work independently with excellent organizational and problem-solving skills. Requires good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Valid drivers license and reliable transportation. Requires automobile travel with potentially hazardous roads and unpredictable weather conditions with temperature extremes. Requires access in and out of patients homes, other health care settings, and the normal office environment, with fluctuations in noise level and interruptions. These variable home environments include the potential for accidents, with possible exposure to undesirable or unsafe neighborhoods. Exposure to human body fluids and/or communicable disease, broken glass and sharps/needles, and hazardous chemicals is possible. However if safety precautions are followed, risks should be minimal. Work may require fluctuations in daily schedule, irregular hours, rotating weekends/holidays, and on-call responsibilities. Work may require use at a computer
