Requirements: Master’s degree in Speech/Language Pathology. Eligible for Nebrsaka State License. Certificate of Clinical Competence (CFY) can be completed during first year of employment. Satisfactory completion of annual mandatory continuing education requirements.
One year clinical experience preferred, new graduate completing CFY year acceptable. Knowledge, skills to evaluate, treat and develop treatment plan components for communactively or swallowing impaired children, adolescent, adult and geriatric patient populations.
Possible exposure to patients with communicable diseases. Requires use of protective equipment and minitor for radiation exposure during modified barium swallow tests.
