Employee Health Nurse ** Casual / On-Call Position **

If you are an RN and currently have a flexible schedule this is the position for you!

Education: Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing, Bachelor’s Degree preferred.  Minimum of one (1) year worker’s compensation case management experience preferred.  Must meet written and demonstration competency standards and certifications yearly and/or as needed. RN licensure in the State of Iowa or Compact State. LPN considered with experienced with licensure in the State of Iowa or Compact State. Experience:                                                                                                                                                                    Requires knowledge of the nursing process, principles of infectious disease and adult learning, safety principles, principles of wellness and health promotion, occupational health concerns including relevant worker’s compensation regulations, OSHA standards, and industrial first aid standards, rehab programs including work hardening and back to school programs.  Requires knowledge of general industrial health concerns including general physicals, emergency room procedures, drug testing and lab procedures.
