Teach full range of nursing coursework and clinical experiences during the day, evenings and/or weekends at the South Omaha campus and multiple clinical locations. Participate collaboratively in curriculum review and development, outcomes assessment, departmental, and College activities.
QUALIFICATIONS: Master of Science degree in Nursing required. Will consider a Baccalaureate degree in Nursing if actively pursuing a Master of Science degree in Nursing. Three years full-time clinical experience and registered as a professional nurse in Nebraska required. Current CPR certification and comply with recommended immunizations and drug testing for clinical participation required. Higher education/community college teaching experience is desirable. Current experience as a nurse educator including clinical component with focus on Medical Surgical nursing preferred. A teaching demonstration is required as part of the interview process. 177 day, 9 month contract, Position is contingent upon MCC Board of Governors approval. Hiring process includes a background check. Official transcripts required at the time of hire. NOTE: College degrees obtained outside the U.S. accepted only when interpreted by transcript service members of the National Association of Credential Evaluation Services.
