Teach a variety of hospitality and culinary arts classes involving both lecture and lab. QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor’s degree with major in Hospitality, Culinary Arts, or related field, plus two years full-time related occupational experience in the industry required. The person must be knowledgeable about, and able to teach a variety of courses in the hospitality, culinary and management areas including, table service, cost management and other hospitality classes. Will involve teaching day, evening, and weekend classes. Candidates are invited to submit a teaching portfolio. A teaching demonstration is required as part of the interview process. 232 day, 12 month contract. Position is contingent upon MCC Board of Governors approval. Hiring process includes a background check. Official transcripts required at the time of hire. NOTE: College degrees obtained outside the U.S. accepted only when interpreted by transcript service members of the National Association of Credential Evaluation Services.
