The primary duties of the Hydro Controls Systems Specialist will be to provide technical support to clients in the Hydroelectric field. Will perform complex assignments exercising judgment in evaluation, selection, and modification or standard engineering techniques and procedures. Will provide operational implementation of various FERC Regulatory Compliance requirements. Will function as technical specialist or project manager on mid-size projects but project management is not sole focus of position. Writes/edits specifications, selects equipment, and monitoring/control devices. Coordinates and assists, with affected disciplines, with any addendum, requests for information, change proposal requests and change orders and is responsible to incorporate agreed upon changes into the project documents.

BSEE is preferred, but will consider AAS with 10+ years experience in Hydroelectric Controls. Solid experience with operational implementation of FERC Regulatory Compliance will be required. Excellent communication skills and writing skills are required.
