Position Description
The primary duties of this position will be to manage water resources projects in storm water and transportation drainage, floodplain and flood control engineering, hydrology and hydraulics for water resources planning and design studies, storm water quality, grading and drainage design, preparation of drainage reports, storm drain plan and profile drawings, and specifications for drainage facilities. The position requires some business development, scoping new work and preparing proposals, scheduling work with staff, providing training and reviewing work. Requires well developed written and oral skills and a track record of completing work on time and within budget.

This position requires a minimum of a Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering or related field, and a minimum of 5 years water resources engineering experience with specific experience in leading engineering teams. California PE license (or the ability to obtain within 1 year) required. Software knowledge should include: H&H modeling (including Rational Method, HEC-1, HEC-RAS, and WSPG), CAD (ACAD and MicroStation), Excel, Word, and Microsoft Project.
