The primary duties of the Water/Wastewater Structural Engineer include design and plan production for on wide variety of projects. Creates detailed designs, plans, specifications and estimates for pipelines, pump stations, treatment plants, tanks and other water and wastewater storage and conveyance systems. More specific responsibilities include engineering/process design, project coordination, writing engineering specifications, planning work and establishing appropriate design methods. Performs complex assignments exercising judgment in evaluation, selection and modification of standard engineering techniques and procedures. Fully experienced, competent engineer. May function as technical specialist or project manager on mid-size projects.

BS in Civil/Structural Engineering or related discipline required, MS preferred. PE preferred. 5+ years structural water/wastewater engineering experience required including planning and design. Microsoft Office, AutoCAD and Microstation software required. Previous experience with an architectural/engineering or engineering consulting firm preferred.
