Civil engineer with experience in the design of hydroelectrical projects, including preparation of drawings, specifications and supporting calculations

The applicant should have general familiarity with the hydroelectric project design and licensing processes, especially the requirements of the FERC and other regulatory agencies.

Experience with all civil components of hydroelectric projects including intake, penstock, and powerhouse design. General familiarity with mechanical and electrical systems.

Performs complex assignments, making independent decisions on problems and methods.

Preparation of procurement specifications for hydroelectric power facilities.

Supports performance of hydropower industry feasibility studies.

Provides field support during construction.

Supports preparation of project scopes, schedules, and budgets.

Serves as client relations manager.
