Provides end-to-end service to group administrators as well as service opportunities from Regional Vice Presidents, regional group representatives and/or brokers. Utilizes appropriate systems, contract provisions, eligibility requirements, state laws, and other reference materials. Act as liaison between home office departments and the customer for issue resolution. Assures the complete implementation and issue of all new business that meets established national account criteria, as assigned. Responsible for finalist presentations as needed. Maintain a complete 360 view and monthly service plan on each National Account.

Essential Job Functions:

Develops customized implementation plan and manages all implementation details to plan; leads all implementation meetings.

Explain policy adjustments to clients and communicate changes in products to field offices and broker network.

Provide excellent service recovery, to include turning complaint/error situations into an advantage, delivering service from a total need and client level, striving to meet customer expectations with accurate and complete information, and using every service contact as an opportunity to conserve and/or expand business.

Maintain customer relations and conserve profitable business by resolving challenges presented by dissatisfied customers. Document, review and analyze policyowner complaints and surveys.

Remain abreast of competitor product offerings and industry developments.

Maintain a current knowledge of service and new business trends and a proactive posture in the insurance and service industries as well as existing and emerging technologies in systems to identify and develop new service approaches and methods. Evaluate risk on cases as appropriate.

Works in partnership with sales rep and underwriter to jointly present annual renewal, including gathering of claim experience, underwriting data, claims analysis reports, return to work statistics, etc.

Must travel regularly to visit accounts, producers, and regional office personnel in assigned territory.

Education/Experience/Skills: (List minimum requirements)

Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience is required
-
Current life and health insurance license or the ability to obtain a license in appropriate states

Appointments in all appropriate states is required

Solid track record in group insurance from loyalty, technical and marketing perspectives
-
Strong negotiation and persuasive skills
-
Solid understanding of underwriting/claim and other risk concepts
-
Must have an understanding of National Account management opportunities
-
Strong oral, written and presentation skills
-
Strong attention to detail, highly organized and able to prioritize multiple tasks
-
Ability to work independently and make decisions within scope of position

Understanding of group insurance financial and business concepts

Participates in insurance education and or industry courses

Ability to travel on a regular basis
