General Summary:
This position is responsible for supervising and coordinating the activities of the Accounts. This position is also responsible for providing accurate and timely accounting information through reports and analysis.
Essential Job Functions:
1. Collaborate with Company management to establish internal accounting practices.
2. Prepare reports and analysis for Company activity.
3. Set goals and establish targets for staff.
4. Assist in ensuring the Company’s financial statements are prepared in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and other statutory accounting rules and regulations.
5. Assist in ensuring that adequate internal controls over the financial reporting process are in place and operating effectively.
6. Train and monitor staff performance.
7. Supervise and train accounting staff to ensure that goals are met. Review team progress and direct as necessary
Supportive Job Functions:
1. Complete special projects.
2. Assist in other areas as needed.
3. Perform other miscellaneous duties as assigned by management.

1. Ability to communicate with individuals at all levels in the company in an articulate, professional manner, while maintaining necessary degree of confidentiality.
2. Must be detail oriented and able to prioritize multiple tasks.
3. Ability to anticipate and quickly react in a dynamic business environment.
4. Detailed knowledge of accounting practices and regulations.
5. Ability to understand needs of a multi-company environment.
6. Ability to successfully manage and motivate a team of associate’s.
Education, Experience, and Certification:
1. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance is required.*
2. 3 to 5 years previous relevant work experience, with some management experience, is required.*
3. CPA and public accounting experience preferred
