MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS FOR POSITION
|
|
· 10 + years experience and enjoy working in strong sales environment.
|
|
POSITION SUMMARY:
|
|
· Develop, grow and maintain a commercial lending portfolio of small business customers (defined as those with annual revenues of $200,000 to 1,000,000).
|
|
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
|
|
· Engage in active and disciplined calling program to generate new relationships for the Bank. The goal of our calling program IS NOT to sell but rather to find those customers which acknowledge pain in their existing relationship and desire to remove the pain.
|
|
· Lend financial analysis expertise to prospects to help determine best options available for removing acknowledged pain.
|
|
· 15 – 20 Face to Face calls per week with the results of each call being input into our advanced CRM (Customer Relationship Management) system.
|
|
· Work with portfolio management staff (credit analysis) in analyzing credits to determine areas of risk and ways to mitigate evidenced risk.
|
|
· Develop those around you by sharing knowledge and helping them to improve their skill sets.
|
|
· Serve as a trusted financial advisor to our customers primarily by having frequent financial check ups. These meetings consist of communicating the results of internal analysis of financial trends using industry comparison. The goal of these meetings is to help set strategy with regard to possible areas of improvement.

|
NON-ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

|
· Maintains a working understanding of, and complies with, applicable banking regulations as well as internal policies and procedures.
|
|
· Desires a fully functioning support staff that increases face to face time with customers.
|

Our commercial lenders average 20+ years in the industry and in excess of 15 years with our bank. We hire experienced lenders, communicate our expectations and then try and stay out of their way. Personality is a must as it is not what we do, but how we do it that sets us apart.
