The company manufactures nanofibers which are 1,000 times smaller than the diameter of a human hair and are used for clean room products, filtration and specialty fabrics among others. Job Description:

This position requires a self-motivated individual who is able to work without close supervision. The candidate must have a B.S. degree in Biology/Chemistry.

Necessary skills include knowledge of basic chemistry procedures, math skills, computer literacy, record keeping and organization. Must have the ability to read and follow analytical test methods, and be familiar with FESEM and Light Microscopes, EDAX/EDS, GC, FTIR, UV-VIS, viscometer and other lab equipment. Candidate should also be willing to learn additional non-microscopy analytical methods for product evaluation. Experience with a wide range of materials related microscopy work and compositional analysis using EDAX, experience with operating diverse laboratory equipment, and experience with sample preparation methods is strongly desirable.
