Position Description

Logic Marketing is looking for a nerd. We need an Analytics Manager to provide support on all ROI/Impact analyses, web analytics and business analytics. The candidate should be able to draw insights into customer behavior, category performance, promotion effectiveness, pricing, direct marketing and corporate reporting. Other necessary skills include the ability to create, interpret and certify web statistics while proposing and leading innovative mathematical approaches to complex business problems. Knowledge of Omniture and other web analytics tools is required.

Position Summary:
Logic Marketing is looking for an Analytics Manager to join our quickly expanding team. We are interested in hiring an experienced individual who will provide analytical support on all ROI/Impact analyses, web analytics, and business analytics. This person will answer directly to the Director of Interactive Marketing.

Essential Functions:  

  1. Manage the application of analytics, business, and technology to enable best in-class insights into customer behavior, category performance, promotion effectiveness, pricing, direct marketing, and corporate reporting
  2. Propose and lead innovative mathematical approaches to solving complex business problems utilizing available research
  3. Create, interpret, and certify web statistics (web sites, online marketing programs – PPC, traditional marketing programs)
  4. Discover, analyze, and quantify trends and correlations
  5. Build and strategically lead the Analytics Team toward achieving results
  6. Perform administrative and clerical duties as needed


Skills Required:  

  1. Knowledge of Omniture and other web analytics tools
  2. Exceptional business judgment, data mining, and quantitative analytic ability
  3. Strong initiative and willingness to approach work with a sense of urgency
  4. Ability to mobilize a team toward achieving results
  5. Strong academic profile with an emphasis on quantitative coursework (e.g., degree in Mathematics/Statistics, Economics, Econometrics or Market Research)
  6. Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  7. Possess strong business ethics; be reliable and dependable
  8. Internet industry management experience a plus


Experience Required: 

  • A minimum of 5-7 years experience in direct response marketing, preferably in a high growth B2C market
  • Hands-on data analytics experience is essential
