Cabela's, World's Foremost Outfitter of hunting and fishing gear, has an immediate opening for a Financial Analyst I to work at our downtown corportate office in Sidney, NE.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Perform detail, weekly and monthly work assignments in the areas of general ledger, financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting to assist managers, directors, and VP's of the department in making financial decisions
• Monthly Forecasting; to provide an accurate and updated forecast of expenses to management, executive management and the board
• Financial Reports: to provide updated financial results on a monthly/quarterly/yearly basis to management so they are able to make appropriate financial decisions and forecasts.
• Month end: prepare journal entries and other relevant information regarding the department it supports. This is done so all entries are made for the department to insure the accuracy of financial statements on a monthly/quarterly/yearly basis.
• Assist with the preparation of the monthly operational Executive package and operational presentations so executive management and the board of directors is aware of the financial state of the business.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

• Associated Degree and up to one year experience.
