Applies business systems and applications analysis skills and knowledge in support of MEDITECH Clinical applications, including PHA / LAB/ RAD
Classifies problems as system, training, or process and recommends corrections
Teach the end users new technology and enhancements
Guides end users through complex application functionality
Provides second and third level support for multiple MEDITECH Clinical applications across a large healthcare enterprise
Communicates with internal networking and desktop support teams
Communicates with end users for problem resolution
Establish a close working relationship with the customer
Analyzes issues and problems reported by end users and customers
Identifies and implements solutions in cooperation with other team members, MEDITECH Inc, and end users and customers
Implements new functionality
Participates in new module implementation and upgrades
Works on problems of diverse scope where analysis of data requires evaluation of identifiable factors
Demonstrates customer service regarding responsiveness to customer requests for support assistance, whether troubleshooting, problem solving, report development, or system enhancements and correction testing
Required Skills:
At least 2 years experience providing second and third tier end-user support for the MDITECH Magic or C/S Clinical applications such as PHA, RAD, LAB, OE, NUR, PCI,
Ability to work within and foster a strong team environment
Experience with the successful implementation of at least one MEDITECH module
Hospital clinical operations experience
Experience with and understanding of clinical dictionaries and application functionality and how they impact other modules
Experienced developing technical documentation and estimation of resource requirements for tasks and small projects
Experience assisting with MEDITECH upgrades including coordination and testing
Experience with working with MEDITECH Inc to resolve issues
Experience with MEDITECH security and user setup
Exceptional client relationship skills
Desired Skills:
Clinical background, such as the CPhT
Some MEDITECH Client Server experience
Experience providing module coordination for MEDITECH upgrades
NPR report writing experience
Minimum Educational Requirements:
Associates degree or Bachelors degree preferred, or relevant work experience
Minimum Certifications or Other Professional Credentials:
Meditech certifications preferred
Certified Pharmacy Technician desired
