My premier client is continually growing and is currently looking to add a Major player to their team. This person must reside in California or be willing to relocate. Be part of an INDUSTRY LEADER!
Position Responsibilities:
· Effectively lead, manage and motivate sales resources of the company to maximize the sale of Freight Bill Audit (FBA), Recovery Services (RS), Integrated Invoice Management Services (IIM), Parcel Shipping Optimization (PSO), LTL Shipping Optimization (LSO), and Logistics Optimization (LO) Services
· Recruit and train new Account Executives
· Manage Account Executives to close 2 new premium (LO, PSO, LSO) deals a month
· Manage Account Executives to maintain 6 accounts that will close premium deals in the next 30 days
· Manage Account Executive to average 10 sales appointments per week where the sales cycle is advanced
· Manage Account Executives to work with their Inside Account Partner to identify and qualify 6 new opportunities each week
· Take corrective performance management actions whenever an Account Executive’s performance falls below minimum acceptable standards as stated above
· Participate on sales appointments with Account Executives and coach their performance.
· Work with marketing to develop and implement sales tools and solicit feedback for modifications and new tools needed
· Develop and implement lead generation programs
· Assist in the development of new services
· Train, deploy and use sales force automation tools (salesforce.com)
· Embrace and become a champion of Miller Heiman’s Strategic Selling program
· Abide by and support company policies and procedures
· Participate in management meetings and provide feedback to the company on customers and the marketplace
Position Requirements:
· Bachelors Degree (MBA preferred)
· 5 to 10 years experience leading and managing a direct sales channel
· Parcel and / or LTL logistics experience would be beneficial
· Excellent communication skills – verbal and written
· Demonstrated MS Word, Excel, Outlook and salesforce.com proficiency
· Must be a self-starter and able to work independently
· Travel requirement: 50% to 75%
· Must be located in or be willing to re-locate to a major US Central or Western market
