Position Description
This position is responsible for providing prescribed medical treatment and personal care services to residents assigned to him/her under the direction of the physician supporting the medical plan of care and meeting the written comprehensive care plan objectives, while functioning within the appropriate scope of practice. Assumes the Charge position upon request.
This position is responsible for working to fulfill goals and objectives of the Nursing Department and Tabitha Nursing Home. Responsible for delivery of quality service, promoting good public relations and for upholding the mission and standards of the facility.
EDUCATION/TRAINING, AND WORK EXPERIENCE
Is at least 18 years of age.Is of good moral character.Is listed on State Registry in good standing as a Nurse Aide (75 hours) and Medication Aide II course (40 hours) including competency testing.High school graduate or equivalent preferred.Previous experience as a MA II in a nursing home preferred.CPR certified.
