Position Description
Description
The Staff Nurse assumes principal responsibility for the total nursing care, assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of each assigned patient. Initiates teaching and educates the patient and family/or significant other to attain optimal health.
Qualifications
Graduate of a professional nursing program. Current RN licensure. Current BCLS certification required. Must successfully complete telemetry course within 6 months of hire date. Knowledge of current nursing theory and practice. RN experience required for per diem (on call) positions.
