Position Description
Description
The staff nurse assumes principal responsibility for the total nursing care, assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of assigned patient. The staff nurse initiates teaching and educates the patient and family/or significant other to attain optimal health.
Qualifications
Graduate of a professional nursing program. Current RN licensure. BCLS and ACLS certifications. Minimum 1 year PACU experience or 2 years of ICU experience preferred.
