Position Description
Description
The Paramedic is responsible for patient care to designated patients under the direction of a Registered Nurse. Participates in the planning, implementation and evaluation of patient care and education within the scope of paramedic practice.
Qualifications
Graduate form an approved paramedic teaching program. Current Paramedic Certification in the State of Nebraska. Current ACLS and PALS Certifications. Current per-diem employment with a pre-hospital transport service. Minimum of 1 year experience with 911 ambulance service and preferably 1 year experience in an in-hospital patient care setting. Must successfully complete in-house competencies to include moderate sedation, medication administration and patient care coordination
