Position Description

Description

The Obstetrics Unit Staff Nurse assumes principal responsibility for the total nursing care, assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of each assigned patient.  Initiates teaching and educates the patient and family/or significant other to attain optimal health.

 

Qualifications
Graduate of a professional nursing program.  Current RN licensure. Previous experience with L & D or women's health preferred. Current BCLS certification.
