Graduate of professional nursing program with a current RN licensure in the State of Nebraska. A baccalaureate in nursing is required, along with a current BCLS certification. CNOR certification required within two years of date of hire. Three or more years clinical nursing experience/charge nurse experience. Interpersonal skills necessary to work with all levels of unit personnel  well as physicians and to manage the activities of a diverse group of employees. Ability to develop, initiate and meet goals. Analytical ability to identify improvements as well as problem resolution. Budgeting skill for area of responsibility. Must be current in knowledge of health care trends and issues.
