Position Overview:
The Market Research Analyst plays a crucial role in FirstComp’s growth in current markets. The Market Research Analyst position is an entry level role in the Sales Department and allows individuals to develop the skills necessary to prepare them for a career in Outside Sales. Job duties will include the following:

Conduct telephone research into new markets to gather information regarding competitors and market conditions

Utilize surveys and questionnaires to gather data about market conditions

Generate leads for Outside Sales Managers

Place outgoing telephone calls to agents to follow up on quotes and renewals
-
Act as a liaison between agent-clients and internal departments
-
Communicate pricing inefficiencies and competitor information to underwriters and sales managers

Support Outside Sales Managers, including travel to assigned territory as needed

Assist Outside Sales Managers at conventions and seminars
Position Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree

Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel

Strong oral and written communication skills
-
Ability to work in a fast paced environment and adapt to change

Some US travel required

Prefer candidates interested in career in Outside Sales

Prefer candidates who are open to relocation anywhere in the United States
