H. RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Accurately record and maintain various accounting documentation on a timely basis.
2. Maintain various Insurance policies for the company.
3. Arrange for audits of company accounts.
4. Support the CEO with a proper financial plan.
5. Analyze operational and financial statements to identify areas of opportunity and/or improvement.
6. Direct preparation of budgets, review budget proposals, and prepare necessary supporting documentation and justification.
7. Management and supervision of staff responsible for accounts payable, receivable, collections, and general accounting.
8. Coodinate the operational budgeting and controlling process.
9. Oversee the Human Resource Department
10. Develop, implement, modify, and document recordkeeping and accounting systems, making use of current computer technology.
I. DUTIES AND TASKS
· Ensure that GAAP basic accounting procedures are followed.
· Maintain General ledger accounts accurately.
· Produce and maintain financial statements on a timely basis each month.
· Ensure that bank reconciliations are done timely, properly and accurately.
· Ensure that the computation of sales commissions is performed timely and accurate.
· Review and approve all credit issues.
· Advise management on insurance overages and protection issues so as to properly protect company assets.
· Insure that capitol assets are correctly accounted for and depreciated according to GAAP reporting procedures.
· Arrange for audits of company accounts as necessary.
· Support the CFO/CEO with proper financial strategic plan.
· May complete or oversee payroll functions
· Prepare as necessary, all federal and state and property tax estimates for submission and payment
· Reconcile bank accounts.
· Prepare all quarterly as well as annual reports for the government regarding Payroll including W-2's.
· Prepares Cash Position daily.
· Prepare necessary data for year end taxes to be presented to company tax accountant.
· Develop and issue reports that aid the company in decision making.
· Interact with manufacturing procurement and distribution to properly manage transaction flows through the system from raw material to finished goods.
