Position Description

 

 

 

BASIC FUNCTION AND RESPONSIBILITY:
Provides nursing care and identified clinical support tasks within the LPN scope of practice for achievement of the patient's plan of care in conjunction with medical staff requests.

 

EDUCATION:

 

Required:

Graduate from an accredited school of practical nursing.
Must be currently licensed as a practical nurse in Nebraska.
Must have basic life support certification.

Preferred: 

May need specialty certification in some clinic settings

 

EXPERIENCE:

 

Preferred:

1-2 years experience in Physicians office is highly desirable.
May need experience in setting related to clinical setting
