SUMMARY DESCRIPTION OF WORK:
- Assists with child care while mothers attend treatment groups. Performs programmatic duties of a routine nature. A variety of activities may be required. Decision making is minimal.
PREFERRED MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- High School Diploma
- Two Years Experience
ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Provides ongoing supervision of children according to program philosophy, program policies, and requirements of regulatory agencies.
- Delivers the identified program that is responsible to the emotional, physical, intellectual, and social needs of individual children, based on their age, ability, interests, and culture.
- Provides age-appropriate guidance in interacting with children, using discipline techniques, which maintain the child’s dignity and self-esteem.
- Develops and maintains supportive relationships with parents.
- Displays a courteous and caring attitude at all times to the clientele, volunteers, and visitors of the Agency.
- Cooperates and collaborates with program area staff, volunteers, and other Agency staff.
- Is dependable and punctual regarding scheduling and attendance.
- Abides by all specific program and Agency procedures, policies and requirements.
- Performs other program related duties as assigned.
