JOB SUMMARY:
Promoting sales within assigned territory through personal selling efforts to meet assigned sales quota. JOB DUTIES:
1. Promotes sales within assigned territory for merchants with credit card volume up to $3M through personal selling efforts to meet assigned sales quota. Communicates leads to other sales management as appropriate.
2. Monitors account activity and sales against projections. Coordinates with management to improve below projection performance.
3. Prepares product proposals and conducts product presentations and equipment demos as required. Assists in negotiation of contracts and business terms including non-disclosure agreements, letters of intent, and Merchant Processing Agreements.
4. Identifies new accounts and business via personal prospecting efforts.
5. Oversees resolution of customer complaints and inquiries.
6. Ensures activation of accounts upon completion of sale. Coordinates with credit and accounting administration to ensure accounts are activated and applications are submitted and processed in an accurate, complete, and timely manner.
7. Prepares periodic and ad hoc reports to keep senior management informed of activities, sales projections, expenses, competitive information, accomplishments, problems, etc.
8. Performs other duties and special projects as assigned.
KNOWLEDGE/SKILL REQUIREMENTS:
With one or more years of direct sales experience, you bring solid negotiation; presentation and value added sales skills selling to businesses. General knowledge of Business and marketing principles and practices, credit card merchant/consumer environment, marketing, business principles and practices, presentation techniques are required. Exceptional interpersonal and written and verbal communication skills required. You are a highly motivated sales professional with a passion for success. Strong consultative, and organization skills also required. A University degree or College diploma and French will be an asset.

This position does require a valid drivers licence and use of an automobile.
