Analyze, recommend changes and re-engineer solutions for multiple applications on ecommerce platforms and back office servers in different languages including: Java, C++ and C#. Activities include: meeting with users and development teams, defining improvements within the core applications, 3 rd party applications and other technologies, develop, implement, and document opportunities to increase user efficiency and application stability. Work involves complex programming logic on large scale enterprise wide solutions. Remain knowledgeable of operations, computer systems, and various technological tools. Works as a member of a team and sometimes as the leader to coordinate the solutions involving multiple cross system related problems/issues. Provides technical training, guidance, and resource support for end users and departmental staff. Project management experience is a huge plus! Leadership skills, collaboration and ability to lead cross-impact teams a MUST. Supports technical projects, such as planning, analysis, design development and implementation. Establishes project requirements if needed, priorities and deadlines. Monitors project progress across one or more projects and adjusts priorities accordingly



Minimum of 5+ yrs experience & demonstrated mastery of developing efficient, intuitive applications using: Java , JavaScript, EJB, HTML, XML, CGI, C++, C#, UNIX and Windows (ORACLE a plus). Strong understanding and operational skills with Solaris, Linux, Windows and Networking. Application interaction with Apache, Tomcat and Jboss and other web services. Excellent verbal and written communication skills a must. Advance knowledge of programming practices would be required. Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, MIS or equivalent experience.
