JOB SUMMARY:

Sells VISA, Interac and MasterCard to Mid-Market and large corporate accounts.

JOB DUTIES:

1. Conducts industry and competitive analysis to identify, evaluate and prioritize growth opportunities for businesses greater than $3M in credit card volume.

2. Prepares detailed RFP responses and proposals to attract new business. Prepares verbal and written presentations to potential customers including new product introduction plans, strategic initiatives and business development strategies.

3. Negotiates all contract and business terms including non-disclosure agreements, letters of intent, confidentiality and success measurements. Consults with FDMS counsel and senior management as appropriate.

4. Builds strong relationships with existing clients in order to assess client needs and propose new products, services, and solutions that will add value to the overall relationship through quality and cost improvements. Manages day-to-day client needs and responds to client issues in a timely manner.

5. Researches and gathers information and works with Finance Department to ensure pricing models achieve acceptable margins. Ensures pricing issues such as discounts and fees are resolved.

6. Prepares periodic and ad hoc reports to keep senior management informed of activities, accomplishments, problems, etc.

7. Performs other duties and special projects as assigned.



CONTACTS (Internal/External):

Contacts are frequent and generally initiated with those outside the organization requiring persuasion, influence and negotiation.

TRAVEL:
Business travel required.

SUPERVISION:
No Supervisory responsibility.
KNOWLEDGE/SKILL REQUIREMENTS:

University degree in Business, Marketing or related field with a minimum of three years sales experience in a credit card merchant/consumer environment or the equivalent required. Exceptional interpersonal and written and verbal communication skills required. Strong negotiation, consultative, and organization skills also required.
