Position: Credit Union Relationship Manager
Job Status: Full Time
Hiring Range: $43,300. - $55,000.
Variable Pay: FDC-Bonus, 10% of Base Salary @100% Target
Work Location: Southern Ontario, Regina Saskatchewan; EdmontonAlberta;
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Manage an assigned portfolio of credit union relationships with a focus on customer service excellence, portfolio growth and client retention.
Develop solid business relationship with each client within assigned portfolio;
Act as the day to day contact for credit union clients and 1st point of escalation for service concerns;
Initiate and formulate action plans to address client concerns / issues with focus on overall client satisfaction;
Work collaboratively with UNPS Regional Account Manager (RAM) to facilitate regular contact with assigned credit union relationships and assist with fostering relationships between client and RAM;
Assist clients with strategic, tactical and portfolio management and formulize same in client specific marketing plans;
Ensure sales goals from credit union channel are met or exceeded based on sales initatives as outlined in the annual marketing plan;
Coordinate implementation of sales initiatives to support business plan objectives by identifing opportunities to maximize revenue and portfolio growth for both credit unions and First Data (UNPS).;
Solicit support of clients assigned RAM to ensure strategic and tactical sales goals are meet. as outlined in annual marketing plans;
Analize credit union portfolios to assess opportunities for conversion to MRP / MSB Service Delivery Models;
Coordinate meetings and client visits with senior level decision makers within the credit unions;
Deliver sales presentations to clients and prepare proposals as required;
Identifies accounts presenting an attrition threat, apply retention tactics to prevent attrition;
Responsible for contract management by actively identifing contracts prior to their expiry date with the intention of successfully renewing the contract and extending the term of the business relationship;
Identify client training needs and deliver training as required;
Attend client events as required. (Trade Shows);
Maintain extensive knowledge on UNPS products and services;
Stay apprised of changing industry trends and regulations;
Identify and recommend process improvements/operational efficentcies designed to improve overall service to clients;
Attend weekly meeting with Sr Relationship Manger, prepare status reporting relative to client activities, accomplishments, problems, etc;
KNOWLEDGE/SKILL REQUIREMENTS:
Completion of post-secondary program in Business Adminstration, Commerce or Marketing and/or equivalent employment experience;
Minimum 3-5 years customer service and/or relationship management experience;
Strong interpersonal & relationship building skills;
Superior verbal & written communication skills;
Effectiveley manage, motive and influence others;
Demonstrated facilitation and presentation skills;
Comprehensive knowledge of standard marketing & sales principles;
Working knowledge of the merchant processesing industry; policies and practices;
Knowledge of the credit union environment is considered an asset;
Ability to work autonomously in core aspects of this position;
SUPERVISION:
No Supervisory responsibility.
CONTACTS (Internal/External):
Routinely work with FDMS operational support teams. Maintains regular contact with senior level decision makers and day to day business contacts associated to individual accounts.
WORK LOCATION:
Work from home office.
TRAVEL:
Moderate level of travel required.
