Position Description
Chemical Dependency Specialist
Do you have a Bachelor’s Degree in Human Services or related field? Or, do you have 5+ years of experience working with Adolescents? Catholic Charities seeks qualified, dependable individuals as our Chemical Dependency Specialists. This position works with youth ages 12-19 at Journeys, our residential Adolescent Addiction Recovery Program.
Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree preferred, in Human Services or related field; 5+ years of experience working with adolescents; or commensurate experience in Addiction Recovery programs;
· Understanding and knowledge of chemical dependency disease concept and 12-Step programs is required;
· Valid driver’s license and a driving record insurable with the Agency’s liability carrier;
· CPR and First Aid certified, or ability to be certified within 60 days of hire.
